9.30- 10.30 Wildlife Crime explained - Duncan Thomas.
Duncan is currently the Regional Officer for Basc North. Duncan is a highly experienced member of the Basc team who will give valuable guidance on how to ensure specimens for Taxidermy are received legally. Whether originating from game shooting, under license or found at the side of the road, Duncan will explain how to stay on the right side of the law with identifying, reporting and preserving evidence of any specimens that you suspect, or find, to have been the victim of wildlife crime.

11.00 - 1200 Carl Church. The Good the Bad and the Ugly
Carl is an International award-winning highly respected Bird Taxidermist who needs little introduction. Carl will be demonstrating how to identify and fix problems that occur within taxidermy mounts. This session will be invaluable to all Taxidermists to help improve your work and from a purchasing/commission perspective you’ll learn how to spot the good from the bad. You are welcome to bring along your specimen's (fresh mounts or dry) for critique and help.

1.00 - 3.15 Bird mounting demonstrations - Crows
Carl and our team of experienced taxidermists will be each manning a workstation around the Hall demonstrating the full process of bird mounting techniques from a raw specimen to a finished mount. Whether you are interested in trying Taxidermy, are a beginner or experienced, this unique and informal afternoon will give you the opportunity to get up close, ask questions and receive invaluable advice and insight into all aspects of Bird Taxidermy.

Best in Seminar Cash prize of £50 to the highest scoring entry in Professional, £30 for highest scoring Amateur and £20 highest scoring Novice(Those with specialist qualifications may enter specimens to the Seminar and will be eligible for competition entry and standard credits only)
Standard Credit Judging – Entries judged with written score and feedback (open to all fully paid-up members - numbers may be limited)
Feedback only – Receive one to one feedback for your mount (open to all fully paid-up members – numbers may be limited)
